The Biology Department offers A.S. degree programs in three areas of study: Biology, Pre-Professional and Biotechnology. These programs transfer to four-year institutions where students will continue their studies to prepare for careers in research, teaching and the medical fields. The department also offers courses that service the Health Technology curricula (Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Radiography and Medical Laboratory Technology) and courses that satisfy the science requirements for students in all other programs at the college.

Our faculty is seasoned and experienced, many having served the department in excess of 30 years.  We are dedicated to improving the success of our students through our experiences, our knowledge and keeping abreast of the latest instructional technologies available.
