What is the length of the Radiography
Education program?
The radiography program is a twenty-four calendar month program . Students
are required to attend classes during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters
over the two year period.
Can I attend the program on a part
time basis?
The radiography education major courses, including the Physics 118 course,
are only offered during the day session. These courses must be taken in
the sequence and semesters that they are offered and this aspect of the
program must be taken on a full time basis.
Several General
Education courses can be taken on a part time basis before admission
to the program.

What is the job outlook?
Graduates from the program can work in hospitals, clinics and physician
and chiropractor's offices. Many of our students are offered positions
prior to graduation. Positions are available on a full time, part time
and per diem basis. The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (
http://www.ASRT.org
) performed a salary survey in 2001 summarizing the average
salaries by location, experience and modality. A copy of the survey results
is located in the department offices and is available upon request.
What is required for admission to
the program?
In order to begin the major track of the program
it is necessary to have the following courses completed with a grade of
"C" or better
