Adding Group Mailing Lists to your Address Book in Netscape Messenger

Group Mailing Lists enable you to easily send e-mail messages to a group of people without typing their names separately in the To: box.

To create group lists:

1. Open your Netscape-Messenger e-mail account following normal processes.

2. Click on Communicator from the main menu.

3. Select Address Book from the drop down menu.

4. From the Address Book toolbar, select New List.

5. In the Mailing List dialog box, enter the desired list name, such as Dept. noted below. The mailing list will be added to your Personal Address Book by default.

6. Type the names in the mailing list box as displayed in the sample below.

8. Click OK to close the dialog box and return to the Address Book.

To use the group name in a new email message:

· In the Address Book, click on the Group name to select it

· Click the New Msg button. The Message Composition window will display with the individual names in the To: box.

· Complete and send your message as required.
