Creating Folders in your Netscape E-Mail Inbox Your Inbox overflowing? Can’t find that important email message? Create folders to help you get organized! To create a folder in your Netscape Inbox, follow the steps listed below. 1.
Open your Netscape E-mail. 2. Select File from the Main Menu. 3. Select New Folder from the drop down menu. The dialog box below displays. 4. Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the Local Mail section of the dialog box as below.
5. Select Inbox from those listed. 6. Enter the Name of the Folder such as Department in the sample below.
7. Click OK. The new folder will display beneath the Inbox as in the screen sample below.
8. Continue adding new folders as needed such as Forms in the screen sample below. 9. To store a message in the new folder, cut & paste it there or use drag and drop to move it to the required folder.
Did you know? Ø The same directions can be used to create new subfolders under any of the folders. Ø If you click the right mouse button, select new subfolder from the options listed. Enter the new subfolder name in the dialog box as listed below. Click OK. The new subfolder will display beneath the previously selected one.
