Restoring Messages from your Netscape email trash folder.

 

Once messages have been deleted from your Inbox, they are moved into your Netscape email trash folder.  They will remain there until you delete them from the mail server (see Tip & Trick #33).

 

What if you deleted the message that includes the time of an important meeting?

Have no fear!  The message is still in the Trash folder.  Simply drag the message from the Trash folder back into the Inbox folder for later review following the directions below.

 

1.      Point to the Trash folder from the Netscape window.  The contents will display in the right pane as in the screen sample below.


2.         Click on a message in the message header pane to select it as below.


 

 


3.      While pointing to the message, press and hold the left mouse button down and drag it to the Inbox.  It will display there for later use as in the sample below.

 


 

4.           Continue with the steps above to restore additional messages as required.
