NEW PART-TIME, NO DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE DESIRED: click here

NEW DEGREE OR CERTIFICATE-SEEKING STUDENTS:
  1. Submit the application with a $25 application fee. The quickest and easiest way is to apply online.
  2. Have an official copy of your high school transcript sent to the Admissions Office, or, if you have a GED, have those scores sent to the Admissions Office. If you have attended college previously you should also have your transcript sent from your prior college. Prior college credit may transfer and may exempt you from placement testing.
  3. If you have never been to college before and you want to enroll in a major you will need to take our College Placement Test.  If you have taken the test here before you do not have to take it again.
  4. If you have been admitted to a degree or certificate program and have taken the College Placement Test, you may sign up for anOrientation session.  At Orientation, you will meet with an academic advisor, register for classes and learn from other students and professionals about life at MCC.  If you have been admitted and tested or notified that you are exempt from testing, email orientation@middlesexcc.edu. If you have questions about Orientation, please call 732-516-7820.
  5. Do not forget to apply for financial aid. It is recommended that any student interested in receiving financial aid for the summer or fall semester apply on line as soon as possible at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Payment plans are available to students taking 6 or more credits. Plan to pay your bill to the College. If you receive financial aid you will be reimbursed.
  6. Purchase your books.
  7. Summer I sessions begin May 17, 2010. Summer II sessions begin July 6, 2010. The fall 2010 term begins September 7, 2010.
One of our admissions counselors would be happy to assist you with the admissions process.  If you would like to attend one of our information sessions, please call (732) 906-4243 or e-mail us at admissions@middlesexcc.edu.
