- Request that your school send an official copy of your high school transcript (including SAT scores if applicable) or GED scores to the Admissions Office.
- Request that your prior college(s) send an official copy of your transcript to the Admissions Office.
- Take the College Placement Test / ESL Placement Test. You may walk in and take the College Placement Test / ESL Placement Test in the Testing Center located in Johnson Learning Center Room 229. The College Placement Test is offered on on a walk in basis on Mondays between 9 a.m. and 4p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The ESL Placement Test is offered on Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. To discuss an exemption or to schedule an appointment for testing in the evening or on Saturdays, contact our Testing Center by calling (732) 906-2508.
- Apply for financial aid. It is recommended that all domestic students apply for financial aid. All students applying for aid must do so every year. For spring the priority deadline is November 1 and for fall it is April 1. Do not wait for the priority date, apply as early as possible at www.fafsa.ed.gov indicating Middlesex County College's financial aid code (002615). For the fall semester, students are encouraged to file the FAFSA as soon as January 2.
