Apply OnlineThe NJ STARS Program ensures all tuition and approved fees will be covered for two years at your local comminity college if you graduate in the top 20 percent of your High School class.  You can complete the freshman and sophomore years of college with NO TUITION COSTS -- and then transfer to a bachelor’s degree program for the final two years.  You do the math.  You can save thousands of dollars.

The state of New Jersey Legislation passed a new law in January 2006, called the NJ STARS II Program, which is a continuation of NJ STARS and provides successful NJ STARS students at New Jersey county colleges with funding to transfer to a New Jersey four-year public institution of higher education to earn a bachelor's degree.  If you come to Middlesex County College as a NJ STARS student and graduate from a degree program with a minimum 3.0 grade point average, you can transfer to a public four-year college in New Jersey as a junior without paying tuition and approved fees.

Ultimately, the results of the NJ STARS Program and NJ STARS II Program are obtaining an associate’s degree and bachelor’s degree without paying tuition or approved fees.
