Dental Hygiene Program Fall 2008

Applications to the Dental Hygiene Program for the fall 2008 semester will be accepted between September 15, 2007 and January 15, 2008.  In order to be eligible to apply for the fall 2008 Dental Hygiene program all prerequisites must be completed by the close of wintersession (January 2008).  New students may begin studying as a Liberal Arts General major, Biology major or in our Open College program as soon as the spring 2008 semester.  As a Liberal Arts General, Biology or Open College student you may take co requisite courses needed for the program.   Students that wish to apply for financial aid should choose either Liberal Arts General or Biology Pre-Professional as their major.  Open College is not an approved major for financial aid purposes.  It is strongly recommended that you discuss your choice of major and your desire to study in the Dental Hygiene program with an academic advisor when your select your courses.

***If you wish to begin your studies in the spring 2008 semester new students must submit a separate application for the spring 2008 semester.

Admission to the Dental Hygiene program is limited.  The College does not have space in this program for all people who apply.  Therefore, a selective admissions process is administered based on science grades, overall grade point average, and standardized test scores.  Current and former MCC students must have and maintain a 2.0 grade point average by the close of wintersession.  Please note: Developmental courses taken during wintersession will not affect your overall grade point average (GPA).  Applications for the fall 2008 semester will be accepted between September 15, 2007 and January 15, 2008.

  • The Dental Hygiene program is open only to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who have been permanently domiciled in the state of New Jersey for at least one year prior to the start of classes
