Thoughts from the Academic Advising Center

It was both exhilirating and exciting to participate in the new paradigm of New Student Orientation. Fostered and championed under the leadership and guidance of Prof. Alice Picardo, the Coordinatior of the First Year Experience, the new NSDO allows new students to be oriented, advised, and registered all within a four hour period.

For those of you who may be thinking about dropping a class, please remember that Thursday, April 9th is the last day to withdraw from a Spring 2009 class.
Please note that the Advising Center will have an early closing (at 3:30pm) on Friday, April 3rd.

No, this is not an April Fool's joke. The Academic Advising Center is starting its own blog. We'll use this page to share thoughts with you about our Center and the many ways it can assist you.
Please remember that we are in the midst of returning student registration. Starting Monday the 6th, new and visiting students will be registering and might be taking the seat in the course you want. Please be sure to register online for the seat you want!! If you have a hold on your registration, please visit us in the Center so that we can lift the hold.
