Coach Lowery has coached Division II, High School, and basektball camp teams. A former player himself, Coach Lowery was a point-guard for Rutgers-Newark University and was a three sport athlete at Piscataway High School where he played basketball, football, and track. As a former assistant men's basketball coach at Bloomfield College, Coach Lowery helped lead the team to its third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) as well as their first ever regular season championship. As the former Hillside men's basketball coach, he had an overall record of 76-27 and advanced his team to the semi-finals of the Union County Tournament, two Mountain Valley Conference championships, and two state sectional final appearances.

Coach Lowery has a BA in Sociology and Education and a MA in Administration Supervison.
