POLICY:
COLLEGE REFUND
Written notice of withdrawal must be received in the Office of Counseling Services (Center IV) for full-time students and in the Office of the Division of Continuing Education for part-time students prior to the dates specified below in order to make the student eligible for a refund. Students who withdraw prior to the dates specified below in order to make the student eligible for a refund. Students who withdraw prior to the first day of classes will receive a 100 percent refund for all tuition and fees, less the non-refundable reservation and general fees; students who withdraw prior to the first day of the second week of classes will receive a 75 percent refund of tuition only; students who withdraw prior to the first day of the third week of classes will receive a 50 percent refund of tuition only.
Explanation: The general fee has been declared non-refundable and has been incorporated into the tuition policy stated above. The Justification for assessment of general fees to all students is based on the fact that services had been rendered such as providing a complete class schedule. The refund policy establishes the basis for returning students’ money who have voluntarily elected not to attend the College or have withdrawn from the College within the first two weeks of the semester.
