Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment, however, drop-in hours are available subject to availability of professional staff.
Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Evening Hours: Monday and Thursday until 8:00 pm
Counselors also available at the New Brunwsick and
Perth Amboy: Wednesdays 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
New Brunswick: Tuesdays 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Evening hours also available bi-weekly. Contact NB Center for more information.

Professional counselors assist students in making decisions about career choices, educational programs, college transfer, and personal concerns. In addition to general counseling, services are available for students with disabilities, international students, and Hispanic and African American students.
College years are an exciting and challenging time, with many opportunities for personal growth. College presents new experiences, which may require adjustments in life as new interests and abilities are discovered. Counselors assist students in adjusting to the demands of college, and in improving their academic and social skills.
Electronic and print resources about careers, transfer information, and employment can be found in the Career and
Counselors follow the principle that individual concerns merit privacy and confidentiality. Professional counseling ethics are practiced throughout the department. To ensure this right, no information is released without the student's permission.
