"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
Career counseling provides you with an opportunity to speak with a professional counselor about your future plans. For some, the future can be vague and a bit frightening, for others, a career goal has formed but the "how to" is missing, and still for others, academic questions may cloud your ability to create a plan and work it.
A professional career counselor in The Department of Counseling and Career Services will assist you through a process of self-assessment and career exploration. As you progress, emphasis may be placed on career decision making and job search. Whatever questions or concerns you may have, services are available to get you started in the right direction.
