Middlesex County College's Democracy House is the community service and civic engagement center on campus. Through well maintained partnerships with local non-profits, excellent relationships with faculty and a corps group of students dedicated to service, Democracy House does its part to alleviate need in its community, as well as shape great citizens.

2008-2009 Programs, Projects and Initiative:
The Bonner Leaders Corps unites diverse teams of young people to address the unmet needs of the local community during the course of one or two academic years. For more information, contact Carnell Staples at 732-548-6000 x 3262.
The Comic Book Project provides opportunities for young people to improve their writing and artistic skills by creating their own comic books relating to community improvement and civic themes. For more information, contact Susy Castillo at 732-548-6000 x 3262 or 3263.
The Mindng Our Business (M.O.B.) program is a community outreach program of Rider University College of Business Administration. The purpose of Minding Our Business is to advance the personal and vocational development of Trenton youth through entrepreneurship education and mentoring. Dr. Sigfredo A.
