Program Mission Statement
The mission of the Radiography Education Department is “to provide a quality, affordable post secondary education consisting of a progressive sequence of classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences which will prepare students for entry level technological employment and advancement in their chosen occupation”.
- The program emphasizes academic excellence and success via a “student centered” and innovative learning environment for all members of its diverse community.”
- The program is dedicated to the preparation of graduates who have the necessary competencies for an entry level position as a Radiologic Technologist as well as insuring that the graduate develop a professional work ethic and attitude as befits a health care professional.
- As a health care profession the program emphasizes lifelong learning as an opportunity to strengthen the economic, social and cultural life of the community.
The mission is subject to review and revision to ensure a quality educational program predicated upon the changing body of knowledge and technology directed at meeting the performance demands of today's health professional.
