English 226Planning Questions on Paper #2
As you know from reading the assignment for Paper #2, it is a research-based assignment. That means you can't be sure just how you will handle it until you've done some research, found some useful articles, and at least begun to read them. So I want you to answer as many of the questions below and send these answers to me at robertgr9050@portal.middlesexcc.edu. Please be careful not to post them to the course Message Board but to send them only to me.
(Note: If you have not had time to begin even planning this paper and doing some research, and thus cannot answer most of these questions now, answer those you can and let me know exactly when I will receive more complete answers.)
- Which author and work are you planning to write on? (Be sure it's different from the one you wrote Paper #1 on.)
- What theme, issue, or aspect of the work do you hope to be able to focus on? What question(s) will your paper seek to answer?
- What articles that might help have you found so far? How did you find them?
- Have you been able to begin reading some of these articles? Why do you think they will be helpful? Do you think you will need more articles? Why or why not?
- Is there a problem you're having or a question you'd like to ask me?
