equipment is available from Media Services for faculty members to use in
the classroom? The following equipment is available by request from

can I request equipment from Media Services? Requests may be made either in writing, using forms
available in your department office or the IRC or call Media Services at
Ext 2527. Request should be
made as far in advance as possible, but no later than by 2:30 PM of the
day before. Weekend requests
should be filed by 2:30PM Friday. How
do I get the equipment I’ve requested? All media equipment for classroom use will be
delivered and picked up at the times indicated on the request. What
if I need help in using equipment? The Media Services staff will provide training in the
use of any equipment delivered to the classroom.
Faculty members can make appointments for training by phone or in
person. Training at the time
of delivery is often difficult. If
you know you will need assistance, make an appointment prior to the
delivery. Does
the Media Service have software available? Software for use in the classroom should be placed on
reserve with Media Services at the Media Desk in IRC.
Software that has been requested must be picked up prior to class
use; software will not be delivered. If you are interested in locating media software for
rental or purchase, the Instructional Designer, Brian Richards, Ext 2618
will help you. What
