Some of your students may make use of the Office of Minority Student Affairs.  This office helps Black and Hispanic students to succeed by helping them choose courses, receive help with difficult courses and learn about career opportunities.  Minority Access to the Professional Scholars (MAPS) program can help students find a professional mentor and the  Project Success program can help with remedial courses and help the student in finding a career.
