The Testing Center is located in the Johnson Learning Center (JL) in Room 229 and can be contacted at Ext #2508.  The direct phone number is (732) 906-2508.  The Testing Center is open from 8:30PM -7:00 PM on Monday and Thursday and from 8:30 PM - 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Students take the Accuplacer Placement Test in the Testing Center , as well as make-up exams that have been left for them by their instructors.

In order to have a student take a make-up exam in the Testing Center , you must bring the test to the Testing Center , fill out a card with some information and attach the card to the exam.  You will have to fill in the student’s name, the course and section, the deadline for taking the exam, the length of time the student has for the exam and any special tools the student will be allowed to use (i.e., calculators, cheat sheets,).  You will be asked to indicate if the test will be picked up or sent to you via intracampus mail. A sample Testing Center card is in the Appendix.  If the test is a final exam, you should always pick up the test for security reasons.

Once you have brought the test to the Testing Center , the student may call and set up an appointment.  The student will not be permitted to make the appointment until the test is there.
