Foundation FAQ's
The need of deserving Middlesex County College Students for financial assistance has always exceeded the funds available. For this reason the Middlesex County College Foundation is committed to doing everything in our power to grow the financial resources needed to help more and more students each year. Our commitment is demonstrated by the following facts:
- Between 1967 and present, the Middlesex County College Foundation has awarded scholarships, financial aid and grants to more than 11,400 deserving students.
- Since its inception the Middlesex County College Foundation has distributed more than $8.3 million in scholarships, financial aid and grants.
- Consistently the Middlesex County College Foundation has delivered the first or second highest fundraising results of all County College Foundations in New Jersey.
- The Middlesex County College Foundation has the largest number of named endowed scholarships among our peers.
- The Middlesex County College Foundation has the second largest permanently restricted scholarship endowment of all County College Foundation in New Jersey.
- This past academic year the Middlesex County College Foundation was able to provide scholarships and financial assistance to over 625 students and provide funding to special college projects that enhance the learning experience.
- In order to help an average of 1,000 deserving students per year, by the end of 2012, the Middlesex County College Foundation must increase funds available for distribution by at least 12%.
- The Foundation’s first capital campaign, the Community Investment Campaign, exceeded its initial goal of $3 million by over $555,000 in December 2006.
