Open Content is a range of education projects that include, SOFIA an open content initiative for Community Colleges, MIT OpenCourseWare, Carnegie Mellon University Open Learning Initiative, the UK Open University OpenLearn initiative and others that offer high-quality "open knowledge" materials, full courses, components of courses such as modules and learning objects, library collections, and research data. UC Berkeley is now distributing lectures via Google Video.
