NOMAD Systems

The NOMAD Presentation System is a multimedia cart that can be used in most classrooms on campus as well as at the Perth Amboy and New Brunswich Centers.

To book a NOMAD cart for use on the Edison campus please contact Media Services. To book a NOMAD cart for use at the Urban centers please contact the local administrative staff.

Using a NOMAD with the Internet

Some classrooms have built in ceiling mounted projectors and PC’s connected to the internet. If your room does not have built in facilities then you can book a NOMAD or Computer Cart from Media Services for each session that you need it. You also need to tell us if you would like it connected to the network and you need to contact the IT Help desk on x 4251 or via email to help_desk@middlesexcc.edu and tell them that you need an internet connection to a NOMAD.

N.B. You are not allowed to connect your own laptop to the network.

To arrange a hands-on introduction on using the NOMAD Presentation System please contact Steven Lakatos on ext 2535 or 732 906 2535 or by e-mail at Steven_Lakatos@middlesexcc.edu

The following powerpoint slideshow gives an introduction to identifying multimedia resources that you can use with the NOMAD System.
