Materials requested by instructors for use by an entire class are placed "on reserve" at the Circulation Desk. Reserve materials may be signed out for use in the Library by presenting a current, valid student ID card or library barcode. These items may be used and photocopied in the Library but may not be taken outside of the building. Students who remove high-demand reserve materials from the Library will be charged $3.00 immediately, then $.50 per day up to $20.00; the removal of lower-demand reserve materials from the building will result in a fee of $.50 per day up to $20.00.
Patron Privacy Note:
The privacy of those who use reserve material will be preserved at all times. Library staff members may not reveal the names of patrons using reserve material, and may not discuss a patron's use of reserve material with anyone but that patron. This applies equally to all reserve material, regardless of whether it is the property of the library or the instructor.
ELECTRONIC RESERVES
The library is offering electronic reserve materials on a trial basis during the Fall 2001 semester. Please note: paper copies for all materials are also in the library.
