CIRCULATION POLICIES FOR STUDENTS

A Student ID Card is required to borrow material.

To obtain a Student ID card: Present a current official MCC schedule or photo ID at the Student Activities Office in JLC 243 (you must be currently enrolled as an MCC student).

CIRCULATION PERIOD

Books: 2 weeks, 2 renewals

Videos/DVDs: 7 days, no renewals

Interlibrary Loan: determined by lending library

Items that are not overdue may be renewed online or by phone.

NUMBER OF ITEMS ON LOAN

Up to 5 items at a time, including 2 videos.

LATE FEES

Books: 20 cents per day

Videos: 50 cents per day

Interlibrary Loan: 50 cents per day

Maximum fee not to exceed $10

LOSS FEES

Replacement cost of the item plus a $20 processing fee (non-refundable). If replacement cost cannot be determined, $45 will be the default replacement cost. The cost of the item will be refunded if it is subsequently returned.

VANDALISM or THEFT of Library materials is a violation of the Student Code of Conduct.
