The Minority Access to the Professions Scholars Program (MAPS) provides Black and Hispanic students at Middlesex County College with an opportunity to experience the "world of work" while pursuing their academic studies. This "work world" experience enables them to establish a positive work ethic and demonstrate the relevancy of their academic training.
All individuals seeking entry to the MAPS program must be recommended by a teacher, professor, guidance counselor, community leader, or other creditable individual.
Once you are accepted you are expected to:
Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5
Participate in all MAPS Activities.
As a MAP Scholar you will receive
