Emergency Communications
EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS

Emergency information or instructions are communicated to the college community through a variety of mechanisms. Please familiarize yourself with these communication methods and utilize them to acquire information and instructions in the event of an emergency.

  • The college’s emergency information line provides a 24-hour voice mail announcements system at 732-906-2555
  • Radio and Television stations providing announcements.

Additionally, the college issues information via email networks to the college community and the college’s telephone system. Divisional and department emergency telephone communication chains, direct notification by college personnel, activation of alarm systems and posting of notices are other means of communications which the college may use in an emergency.
