MV Accident                    Parking Lot 1                 8/1/06           11:54 am

The driver of vehicle 1 was backing out of the parking space while vehicle 2 was traveling east in the lot.  Minor damage sustained to each vehicle.  There were no reported injuries.  Closed - C.

Theft                       College Center                        8/2/06           11:36 am

A student reported she left her purse in the hallway for approximately ten minutes.  When she returned, she discovered her cellular phone had been taken.  There are no known witnesses at this time. Closed - C.

Disorderly               Instructional Resource Center       8/3/06           10:47 am

Officers were dispatched to the computer lab on a report that there was an uncooperative student refusing to provide valid identification.  Upon their arrival, it was discovered that the student had not had her identification validated for the current semester.  The student was advised of the College's policy regarding use of the lab and where she could obtain the necessary validation to her identification card.  Closed - C.

Panic Alarm         Raritan Hall                  8/7/06                    10:46 am

An officer was dispatched to room 013A  in response to an alarm activiation.  The alarm button was detached and suspended from attached electrical wires. The staff member stated she did not activate the alarm.  Appropriate personnel were notified to repair the alarm.  Closed - C.

An officer was dispatched in response to a security alarm.  The building was checked and secured.  The alarm was reset.  Closed - C.

Lost Property        Edison Campus         8/7/06                  7:00 pm

An individual reported that while he was on the Edison campus between 10:30 am and 3:15 pm, he lost a key ring which contacined three keys.  Closed - C.

Unsolicited Phone Call      Residence P.A.      8/8/06         4:11 pm

A individual reported that her mother had received an unsolicited phone call from the college trunk line requesting personal information about the individual.  The caller did not leave their name or a number where they could be reached at.  Closed - C.

Criminal Mischief        Handicapped Lot       8/10/06       4:00 pm

An individual reported that while her car was parked in the Handicapped Lot between Edison Hall and TSC on 8/9/06, white paint had been splashed on her car.  There was a white Midco dumpster near her vehicle and white paint splatters on the ground near the dumpster consistent with the paint on the vehicle.  Closed - C.

Verbal Dispute        Blue Colt Drive             8/14/06          9:30 am

An individual reported that while driving on campus he was being followed too closely by another vehicle.  The driver of the second vehicle stated that the driver of the first vehicle was "brake checking"  her.  A verbal dispute ensued.   Closed - C.

Hit and Run              Lot 4                               8/14/06          3:10 pm

An individual stated that while her car was parked in Lot 4,  it received damage to the front and rear passenger side doors.  Closed - C.

Threat           Perth Amboy Center              8/18/06          9:46 am

A staff member reported that a verbal threat was made by a student to another staff member because of a discrepancy regarding attendance and documentation thereof.   Open case.

Missing Person   Unknown                        8/19/06            8:37 am

An individual came into Headquarters to report that her son had not been home for several days.  Attempts to contact him via cell phone were unsuccessful.  Campus police left a message on his cell phone and the individual contacted his parent several hours later.  Closed - C.

Dispute      Instructional Resource Ctr.   8/22/06           4:28 pm

Officers were dispatched to the IRC compolex on the report of 2 individuals refusing to produce ID to enter the computer lab.  One of the two had gotten into a verbal dispute with the staff member and both left the scene before police arrived.  One individual was later found at College Center and questioned.  Closed - C.

Open Window       Facilities                       8/23/06            10:03 am

Officers responded to a call at Faciliites Management regarding a window which was found open.  After a thorough search of the building, it was determined that no one had entered via the window and nothing had been taken.  Closed - C.

Theft              Blue Colt Bookstore           8/23/06             1:07 pm

Officers were disptached to the Bookstore on the report of an individual leaving the store with numerous books and not paying for them.  It is unknown which direction the suspect fled after leaving the scene.  Closed - B.

Assistance         College Dr. East          8/28/06              11:12 am

Officers assisted a motorist who attempted to execute a U-turn and skidded onto a curb. Closed - C.

A staff member came into Headquarters to report that she misplaced her keys.  She requested a duplicate set and will return them when the keys are found.  Closed - C.
