MCC Transfer Guide
All developmental courses (courses that begin with an "0") must be completed with a grade of "C" or better. Any developmental course that does not achieve a "C" or better must be taken again. You must be diligent in changing your schedule if you do not achieve the "C" grade in the developmental class.
A corequisite is a course that must be taken with or before another course. A prerequisite is a course tha must be taken before another course. For example, MAT 013 is a corequisite of BIO 010 but it is a prerequisite of CHM 010.
There are many times when you will speak with an advisor or register by WebAdvisor before you know the final grade of a class. It is the student's responsibility to change a previously arranged schedule if a developemental course or a prerequisite course is unsuccessful.
