Associate in Arts Degree

A minimum of 6 credits in English composition

A minimum of 3 credits in speech communication

A minimum of 3 credits in computer literacy

A minimum of 15 credits in humanities, including 6 if history of western civilization and 6 in a foreign language

A minimum of 6 credits in the social sciences

A minimum of 7 credits in the natural sciences

A minimum of 6 credits in a two-semester mathematics sequence

A minimum of 1 credit in physical education or health education

A minimum of 12 credits in one area of concentration

Additional credits as detailed in the sample plan of study to comply with general college requirements, including a minimum of 3 credits that satisfy the general education cultural diversity requirement
