Computer Hardware Configuration
The following is the recommended computer hardware configuration for easy use with WebCT Campus Edition v.4.1.
PC Computer (Windows):
- Pentium-based computer or equivalent e.g. Celeron or AMD-K6
- Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000/XP
- 500 MHz or higher processor
- 64MB or better RAM
- 500 MB available hard disk space
- (at least) 28.8 modem connection (off-campus dial up) or a 10 Base-T Ethernet adapter card for ResNet connections, T1, DSL or Cable connection.
Apple Computer (MAC):
- G3, iMac, or better
- MacOS 9.1 or higher
- 64 MB or better RAM
- 500 MB available hard disk space
- Open Transport installed for Internet connections and the appropriate software (e.g., Remote Access) for modem connections
- (at least) 28.8 modem connection (off-campus dial up) or a 10 Base-T Ethernet adapter card for ResNet connections, T1, DSL or Cable connection.
