Common Questions Regarding Taxpayer Identification Numbers

All applicants are required to provide a social security or individual tax identification number prior to registering for classes (non-resident aliens are exempt from this requirement).

Note: If a student is receiving a scholarship he/she is still required to provide a tax identification number.

Students who have been admitted to the college can provide this information by following these five easy steps:

  1. Claim your NetID account
  2. Log in to WebAdvisor
  3. Select the blue “Students” link.
  4. Select “Enter Social Security/Individual Tax ID Number” from the “Academic Profile” Menu
  5. Enter and confirm your Social Security or Individual Tax ID Number and SUBMIT

Note: You can access all MCC Apps (including NetID and WebAdvisor) from the myMCC page on the website.

This form is used to collect the taxpayer identification number. The student must complete only Part I of the form.
