Faith DuBow ’17
What have you been up to since graduation?
I am 18 credits away from finishing my BSBA in Accounting at Thomas Edison State University. I also was pregnant with my third child when I graduated MCC!
What is one of your greatest achievements since graduating from MCC?
My greatest achievement was returning to MCC in general. I was 29 years old and I had attempted to complete my degree a few times before. I decided to give it one more try and it worked! I truly believe it was because of the teachers I had in that first semester back.
What is your fondest memory of MCC?
My fondest memory was of the best teacher I ever had. Professor Anna Sadowska in Financial Accounting. She was an incredible teacher, and an all-around wonderful woman to look up to. I was so happy I had her as a teacher. Without her I do not think I would have stuck with accounting.
What was your favorite place on campus, why?
Main Hall was my favorite place. I loved the cafe and the hustle and bustle.
Who was your favorite professor and why?
Professor Sadowska in the Accounting department. She was the best teacher I have ever had. She was all business and brought out the best in her students.
If you could offer a current MCC student advice, what would it be?
Just keep going and put one foot in front of the other. Before you know it you’ll have a degree and be so proud of yourself
Why was attending MCC the right decision for you?
MCC made education accessible. It was close to home, a great price, and had classes at times that made it possible for me.
