What have you been up to since graduation?

Received my BA from Rutgers in 1996 -Majors: History and Political Science; Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School in 2000, admitted to New York and New Jersey bars and United States District Court for the District of New Jersey to practice law. Clerked for a judge and worked at a law firm.  

Federal employee since 2005, currently civilian in USAF JAG Corp located at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst. 

Volunteer Girl Scout Troop leader troop 26051, volunteer Communications Director for Coalition of New Jersey Firearms Owners, a Second Amendment advocacy group, appeared on Fox News Channel’s The Kelly File and The Story with Martha Maccallum to discuss politics, security and Second Amendment rights and responsibilities. 

What is one of your greatest achievements since graduating from MCC?
Passing the NY and NJ bar exams on the first try. 

What is your fondest memory of MCC?
Scheduling classes with my best friend, Kathey Semler, reaching for success together. 

What was your favorite place on campus, why?
This may be a little off the wall, but racquetball with friends. I learned something new, and it was a great way to relax. 

Who was your favorite professor and why? 
I remember Prof. Sadowska -admired her intellect and ability to teach accounting, which wasn’t my favorite subject. She made it enjoyable. 

If you could offer a current MCC student advice, what would it be?
Dream big! This is only the beginning. You can do it!

Why was attending MCC the right decision for you?
I realized how much I loved to learn. This sparked my ambition to pursue further degrees.
