Emergency Communications
Weather-Related
If the College is closed or operating on a delayed opening, notice will be communicated on the College website, on the Infoline (732-906-2555), and by text message and email from the Emergency Notification System. These are the only official mechanisms, however, we usually also include them on Facebook and several television stations (WCBS, WNBC, FOX 5, and News 12 New Jersey). Depending on the time of day we may also use the phone message option from our Emergency Notification System.
Campus Crisis
We urge everyone to maintain up-to-date contact information in our Emergency Notification System. If an emergency occurs on campus, it is the quickest way for the College to communicate the issue and what you should do about it.
Students, faculty and staff are automatically entered into the Emergency Notification System based on the information in your student or employee records. You may use your Middlesex College NetID to login and add additional email addresses, phone numbers, and to manage your preferences.
If you are not a current student, faculty or staff member and want to receive emergency notifications, then you must manually register for an account at our ENS preferences web page.
