Suspicious Person - Main Hall - 31 December 2013 10:00 am

Police responded to a call from a faculty member who stated there were 3 individuals in class who were not registered for the class and were being disruptive. The suspects were removed and issued defiant trespasses. #I-0365-13.

Medical - Edison Hall - 27 December 2013 10:58 am

An individual complained of feeling dizzy and faint. EMS transported the patient to a local hospital. #I-0364-13.

Property Damage - Parking Lot #10 - 21 December 2013 10:00 am

A staff member reported that while in Lot #10 he observed a section of the iron fence on Woodbridge Ave. and Lot #10 on an angle. A license plate was also found at the scene. An investigation to determine the owner of the plate was inconclusive. #I-0363-13.

Suspicious Person - Academy High School - 19 December 2013 3:19 pm

An individual attempted to gain entry to the Academy High School but was turned away. The suspect was not familiar to the staff and did not have a clear reason for seeking entrance. MCCPD responded but the individual had left the area prior to their arrival. #I-0361-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #1 - 18 December 2013 9:39 am

Vehicles #1 and #2 were backing out of parking spots when they struck each other. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. #13-167 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 17 December 2013 4:11 pm

Vehicle #1 was traveling west on College Dr. East and Vehicle #2 was traveling East on the same roadway. Vehicle #2 lost control of the vehicle at the downhill portion of the roadway due to snowy/icy conditions and unsafe speed under these conditions. Heavy passenger front end damage to both vehicles was sustained. Driver of Vehicle #1 complained of head pain. Driver of Vehicle #2 complained of minor back pain. EMS was called to the scene; both parties then refused medical attention. #13-166 – Closed C.

Fire Alarm - Billy Johnson Hall - 17 December 2013 11:50 pm

A fire alarm was activated at Billy Johnson Hall. The alarm was coming from a duct detector on the roof. Upon investigation, it was determined that there was no active smoke or fire on the roof. The Fire Department arrived on the scene and confirmed the findings. Appropriate personnel were notified. #I-0354-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Otlowski Drive - 17 December 2013 10:58 am

The driver of Vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 as it was exiting Parking Lot #1B on Otlowski Drive. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to its driver's side door. Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the right corner portion of the front bumper. No injuries were reported. #13-165 – Closed C.

Possible Harassment - Edison Campus - 17 December 2013 2:41 pm

An individual complained of receiving unwanted telephone calls possibly from an ex-boyfriend and his current girlfriend. The number was blocked on some of the calls. The victim was advised to seek a restraining order from the jurisdiction of her current residence. #I-0356-13.

Medical - Main Hall - 17 December 2013 10:51 am

At 10:51 am on 12/17/13, an individual reported to police that at approx. 8:00 am she slipped and fell due to icy conditions while entering Main Hall. The patient complained of wrist pain and back/shoulder pain. The patient refused medical attention. #I-0355-13.

Suspicious Activity - Millgate - 12 December 2013 7:00 pm

While conducting a walkthrough of the building, a staff member reported to the officer that on the previous night two staff members were in offices towards the back of the building when they heard someone enter through the front. One of the staff members went to the front and observed a male nervously walk out of the building. The suspect then fled into a dark colored four door sedan. Identification of the license plate was not able to be obtained. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged. The officer advised the staff member to contact police immediately should something like this occur again. #I-351-13.

Recovered Missing Property - L'Hommedieu Hall - 11 December 2013 12:20 pm

An individual had left her tablet under her chair while taking a test on 12/5/13. After leaving the room, she realized she did not have it in her possession. The student was let back in the room to retrieve the item and it was gone. A staff member later found the item and returned it to the student. #I-0349-13.

Medical - Main Hall - 11 December 2013 10:46 am

While giving a presentation, an individual felt faint and passed out. The patient did not hit her head; EMS was called to the scene and transported the patient to a local hospital. #I-0348-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #2 - 10 December 2013 5:19 pm

Vehicle #1 was plowing Lot #2. When the vehicle was backing up, it slipped on ice and backed into a light pole causing the pole to fall over. Vehicle #1 sustained no damage. No injuries were reported. #13-164 – Closed B.

Vehicle #1 was stopped at the light for Mill Road when it was struck from behind by Vehicle #2 which was unable to stop due to snowy conditions. #13-163 – Closed B.

Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 10 December 2013 9:11 am

The driver of Vehicle #1 stated that he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating the bend on College Dr. East. The vehicle struck and jumped the curb colliding with the speed limit sign. The vehicle was unable to be driven. The right front tire axle appeared to be snapped. No injuries were reported. #13-162 – Closed C.

Motor Vehicle Stop - Thomas Edison Park - 10 December 2013 12:25 am

While on patrol, an officer noticed a vehicle parked and unattended. There was condensation build-up on the inside of the windows. Upon the return of the occupant and subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for an obstructed windshield, the officer noticed a smell of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. The occupant surrended a small amount of a greenish-brown vegetative substance to the officer. The driver was issued a warning. #I-0347-13.

Motor Vehicle Accident - Parkside Drive - 06 December 2013 12:39 pm

Vehicle #1 was heading north on Parkside Drive when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was attempting a left turn. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the left rear passenger door and Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the front right bumper and headlight. No injuries were reported. #13-161 – Closed C.

Lost/Missing Property - College Center/PAC - 04 December 2013 2:58 pm

An individual reported having lost her license possibly in the area of the HRI locker room in College Center. A search of the area yielded negative results. #I-0344-13.

Altercation - On Campus - 04 December 2013 10:10 am

After having been involved in an altercation with a male student, an individual came to Headquarters to report a second incident and also that he was feeling threatened by this person whose identification could not be determined. The individual was advised of escort services provided by MCCPD and also that any additional incidents should be reported. #I-0340-13.

Verbal Dispute - Parking Lot #6 - 04 December 2013 11:49 am

A individual called for police assistance when he noticed a male and female involved in what appeared to be a dispute. When the two parties were questioned as to what had transpired, they both stated that what was reported had been blown out of proportion and that nothing had happened. The female was advised to call MCCPD should she later feel she needed help or desired resources. #I-0341-13.

Motor Vehicle Stop - Parking Lot #1 - 04 December 2013 8:40 am

A motor vehicle stop was effectuated for careless driving in Lot #1. When the officer approached the driver's side of the vehicle, he noticed an odor of burnt marijuana. The driver stated that she does not smoke, but possibly a friend had smoked inside the vehicle within the last week. A consent to search the vehicle was obtained which yielded negative results for CDS and contraband. #I-0346-13.

Medical - College Center - 04 December 2013 12:00 pm

While walking up the stairs outside of College Center, an individual tripped and fell. The patient sustained a laceration to the left hand pinky finger. Further medical attention was refused. #I-0343-13.

An individual sustained an ankle injury while dancing. An ice pack was applied and the patient refused further medical attention. #I-0345-13.

Harassment - Edison Campus - 03 December 2013 3:10 pm

An individual reported that a male whom she had exchanged phone numbers with in 2012 continues to reach out to her even though she has made it clear that she desires no contact with him. The victim was advised of her rights to file a TRO if she desired. The suspect was interviewed and advised of the complaint against him. Subsequently, the suspect was transported to a local hospital for health issues. #13-159 – Open.

Theft - Parking Lot #6A - 03 December 2013 8:20 pm

On 12/3/13, an individual reported that he left his laptop on the passenger side seat of his vehicle at approximately 5:00 pm on 12/2/13. When he returned at approximately 8:00 pm, he noticed the laptop was missing. According to the victim, the gasket on the passenger side door looked as though it had been moved. #13-160 – Open.

Medical - Studio Theater - 02 December 2013 6:08 pm

A dancer stated that she felt a pop in her right ankle while dancing on the stage. The patient had her ankle elevated on a chair when police arrived. She was given an ice pack but refused further medication attention. #I-0337-13.
