Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 26 February 2020 2:38 pm

Vehicle #2 was traveling Southbound on College Drive East when it was struck by Vehicle #1 which was exiting Lot #4. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage; all occupants declined medical attention. #I-2020-004643 – Closed C.


Fraud - Gateway - 26 February 2020 3:08 pm

An individual responded to an email regarding a part time job opportunity, which appeared to be coming from an MCC email account. After responding to the email, a check was deposited into the victim’s account, but the check bounced.  The victim provided both personal and financial information to the suspect. Additionally, the victim sent the suspect a large sum of money via Zelle. The suspect promised to refund the victim, but has yet to do so. This case is currently under investigation. #I-2020-004650 – Open.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #4 - 20 February 2020 9:41 pm

Vehicle #1 was parked in Lot #4 when it was struck by an unknown vehicle.  The driver of Vehicle #1 contacted Police to report the damage. There were fresh scratches on the front passenger side bumper and a cracked fog light lens. #I-2020-004097 – Closed C.


Medical - L'Hommedieu Hall - 20 February 2020 10:34 am

Police responded to L’Hommedieu Hall on the report of an individual having a seizure. Upon police arrival, the patient appeared stable and not in medical distress. EMS evaluated the patient who then refused further medical attention. #I-2020-00055 – Closed C.


Medical - Raritan Hall - 20 February 2020 9:53 am

Police responded to Raritan Hall on the report of a patient who was feeling nauseous. The patient complained of muscle weakness, overall bodily fatigue and nausea. After declining EMS, the patient was transported to his vehicle. #I-2020-004054 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 19 February 2020 9:14 pm

The driver of Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on College Drive East when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a fire hydrant. The vehicle sustained damage to the front passenger side bumper and door resulting in airbag deployment. The vehicle was towed off campus. The fire hydrant sustained moderate damage. #I-2020-003994 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Otlowski Drive - 19 February 2020 3:44 pm

Vehicle #1 was attempting to back out of the pick-up area on Otlowski Drive when it struck Vehicle #2 which was stopped behind Vehicle #1.  Vehicle #1 sustained a very minor scratch to the rear fender and Vehicle #2 did not sustain any visible damage.  No injuries were reported at the time of the accident. #I-2020-003964 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #6 - 18 February 2020 2:03 pm

The driver of Vehicle #1 pulled out of a parking space and struck Vehicle #2 which was traveling North in the lane. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the driver’s side bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained minor damage to the passenger side bumper. #I-2020-003844 – Closed C.


Simple Assault - Physical Education Center - 13 February 2020 2:57 pm

Police responded to the Physical Education Center on the report of simple assault. The victim stated that while on the basketball court, an unidentified female approached her and threw a single punch striking her left cheek bone and eye socket. The suspect was apprehended and charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. #I-2020-003510 – Closed C.


Harassment - Gateway - 06 February 2020 12:35 pm

A male student reported to police that he was being harassed by a female student. The victim stated that the female would show up at his work place frequently. While on campus, the subject would make disparaging remarks to anyone the victim was with.  The subject was referred for counseling. #I-2020-002848 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #4 - 05 February 2020 3:37 pm

An individual noticed, upon returning to her vehicle in Lot #4, that there was a dent with paint damage on the rear driver’s side bumper, rear door and scratches above the rear wheel well.  A note was left on the windshield by a witness with the offender’s license plate number. The registered owner of the subject vehicle had an address located in South Brunswick but no longer resided at that address. #I-2020-002752 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #1 - 04 February 2020 10:59 am

The driver of Vehicle #2 was searching for a parking spot when it was struck by Vehicle #1 which was exiting a spot in Lot #1. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the rear driver’s side bumper and rear quarter panel.  Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the rear passenger side door and bumper. #I-2020-002614 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Parkside Drive - 03 February 2020 10:58 am

Vehicle #2 was traveling northbound on Parkside Drive when it was struck by Vehicle #1 which was exiting Lot #1. Vehicle #2 sustained moderate damage to both the driver’s side and rear-driver’s side doors. Vehicle #1 sustained moderate damage to the front bumper.  No injuries were reported. #I-2020-002520 – Closed C.


Theft - L'Hommedieu Hall - 03 February 2020 9:57 am

A faculty member reported that items valued at $17.50 were removed from the bottom left drawer of her desk located in L’H Room 235 sometime between 1/29/20 when she was last on campus and 2/3/20.  The faculty member was advised to secure the desk when not in the room. #I-2020-002513 – Closed C.


Medical - Physical Education Center - 01 February 2020 1:00 pm

Police responded to the PE Center on the report of a male showing signs of illness. The patient was administered oxygen as he was feeling faint. EMS arrived on scene and continued to provide first aid. The patient refused further medical treatment. A family member was on-scene to transport the patient home. #I-2020-002418 – Closed C.
