Harassment - Gateway - 31 January 2020 10:47 am

A female student worker accused a male of harassing her starting back in Nov. 2019. The male denies the allegations.  #I-2020-002343 – Open Case.


Vehicle Fire - Lot #7 - 31 January 2020 8:17 am

Police were dispatched to Lot #7 for a vehicle fire. The driver stated that as he approached the lot, he noticed his vehicle began to smoke. The Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. The vehicle was towed off campus. #I-2020-002339 – Closed C.


Emotionally Disturbed - Raritan Hall - 30 January 2020 11:01 am

Police responded to Raritan Hall on the report of an emotionally disturbed individual. The patient was transported to the Counseling Department for evaluation and further treatment. #I-2020-002259 – Closed C.


Medical - Edison Hall - 30 January 2020 2:50 pm

Police responded to a call in Edison Hall regarding a female who was experiencing chest pains and tingling in the hands. Police administered oxygen while awaiting EMS. The patient was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. #I-2020 -002266 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #1 - 29 January 2020 5:18 pm

Vehicle #1 was traveling eastbound in Lot #1 when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a parking space.  There was minor damage to both vehicles, no injuries were reported. #I-2020-002179 – Closed C.


Assist Citizen - Otlowski Drive - 27 January 2020 7:30 pm

An individual reported to police that on 1/27/20 at approximately 5:50 pm, she was nearly struck by a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed as she crossed Otlowski Drive at the crosswalk near Crabiel Hall. She stated that she threw her coffee at the vehicle which prompted two occupants of the vehicle to stop. The suspects insisted the victim wipe down the vehicle, which was done. The suspects then left the scene. The victim was not able to provide a license plate number but described the occupants as female, early 20s, Hispanic, wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts driving a dark colored sedan. No further police action taken at this time. #I-2020-001935 – Closed C.


Trespassing - West Hall - 27 January 2020 1:07 pm

Police were dispatched to West Hall regarding an individual who had previously been issued a defiant trespass and was currently on campus. The suspect was located and issued a summons for trespassing. #I-2020-001897 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #1 - 27 January 2020 12:10 pm

The driver of Vehicle #1 stated that she was pulling into an available parking spot when she was rear-ended by Vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 left the scene. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the rear bumper. #I-2020-001895 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #1 - 23 January 2020 11:01 am

Vehicle #1 was traveling through lot #1 when it was struck by Vehicle #2 which was making a wide turn.  The driver of Vehicle #2 initially denied striking the vehicle and then stated she may have but did not realize it. No injuries were reported. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the driver side quarter panel. The driver of Vehicle #2 was cited for failure to report an accident. #I-2020-001622 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 22 January 2020 2:08 pm

Vehicles #1 and #2 were stopped on College Dr. East in heavy traffic when Vehicle #3 crashed into the back of Vehicle #2 which then struck Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to the rear bumper. Vehicle #2 sustained moderate damage to the rear bumper and minor damage to the front bumper. Vehicle #3 sustained minor damage to the front bumper. No injuries were reported. The driver of Vehicle #3 was cited for improper operation. #I-2020-001527 – Closed C.


Assist Citizen - L'Hommedieu Hall - 21 January 2020 10:37 am

Police responded to L’Hommedieu Hall to be available, if needed, in assisting staff who were dealing with an irate individual. #I-2020-001394 – Closed C.


Suspicious Person - Lot #9 - 06 January 2020 5:15 pm

While conducting a walk through of IRC, police noticed an individual who appeared to be hiding in an empty classroom with no lights on. Upon further investigation, it was determined that this was a person of interest involved in a previous incident in May of 2019. The suspect was issued a defiant trespass. I-2020-000341 – Closed C.
