Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 31 October 2018 11:49 am

Vehicle #1 was stopped at the intersection of College Drive East and Woodbridge Avenue, waiting to make a right turn onto Woodbridge Avenue.   Vehicle #2 was directly behind Vehicle #1. Vehicle #1 advanced to make the turn but hesitated and made a sudden stop before turning. Vehicle #2 anticipated Vehicle #1’s action of making a full advance onto Woodbridge Ave. and rear-ended Vehicle #1. Vehicle #2 sustained moderate damage to its front bumper and hood. Vehicle #1 sustained minimal damage to the rear bumper and spare tire which was mounted on its rear tailgate. No injuries were reported. #I-2018-023537 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #4 - 26 October 2018 2:47 pm

Upon returning to Vehicle #1, which was parked in Lot #4, the driver noticed damage to the rear bumper. There are no known witnesses to this incident. #I-2018-023114 – Closed B.


Theft by Deception - College Center - 24 October 2018 4:04 pm

An individual reported to police that while on campus, a male requested money from him on three separate occasions, the last request to purchase a bus ticket. The victim cooperated with each request. The subject is described as an Indian male, approximately 5’8′, 180 lbs. with a short beard and curly hair.  This case is currently being investigated. #I-2018-022922 – Open.


Arrest - Parking Lot #4 - 23 October 2018 6:06 pm

Police responded to Parking Lot #4 on the report of a verbal dispute between a male and female.  The male subject was placed under arrest and charged with Simple Assault and several other offenses, after it was determined that the subject had struck the victim with a closed fist. The subject was transported to the Middlesex County jail. #I-2018-022862 – Closed A.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 22 October 2018 3:09 pm

Vehicle #2 was traveling on College Drive East, slowing down for a traffic light when it was struck from behind by Vehicle #1.  Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.  The driver of Vehicle #2 complained of lower back pain and requested medical attention.  When the ambulance arrived on scene, the driver of Vehicle #2 refused medical attention. #I-2018-022732 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Drive East - 18 October 2018 1:44 pm

Vehicle #1 was traveling south on College Dr. East when it was struck on the passenger side rear bumper by Vehicle #2 which was also traveling south. No injuries were reported. #I-2018-022428 – Closed C.


Theft - College Center - 17 October 2018 2:00 pm

On 10/17/2018, an individual reported that after leaving his wallet in an unsecured locker on 10/16/2018, someone removed his driver’s license, a credit card and a debit card.  The victim cancelled his cards and no transactions had been made against them. There were no witnesses to the alleged incident. I-2018-022409 – Closed C.

Vehicle #1 was stopped in traffic on College Drive East in front of Gateway when Vehicle #2 rear-ended his vehicle.  Both vehicles sustained minor damage.  No injuries were reported. #I-2018-022220 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #5 - 16 October 2018 2:03 pm

Vehicle #1 was attempting to make a right turn into Parking Lot #5 when it struck Vehicle #2 which was stopped at the intersection waiting to turn left onto College Drive East. Vehicle #1 sustained damage to the front bumper on the driver’s side and Vehicle #2 sustained damage to the front headlamp and wheel well. I-2018-022221 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Parking Lot #4 - 16 October 2018 11:07 am

Vehicle #1 was traveling through Lot #4, made a left turn and stopped. Vehicle #2 was stopped at the intersection and according to the driver of Vehicle #1, began to reverse striking Vehicle #1. The driver of Vehicle #2 stated that Vehicle #1 made the turn and struck Vehicle #2.  Both vehicles were moved from the original location where the collision occurred. Harassment - College Center - 16 October 2018 3:44 pm

A male subject was charged with harassment of a female victim.  This case is currently under investigation. #I-2018-022236 – Open.


Theft - Gateway - 12 October 2018 6:21 pm

An individual reported to police that a backpack was taken out of his vehicle in Lot #6.  Items in the backpack included a laptop and cell phone charger. #I-2018-021912 – Closed B.


Arrest - Lot #4 - 10 October 2018 3:53 pm

An individual was taken into custody on a Disorderly Conduct charge.  The victim in this case had police notified that the subject was seeking her out on campus, followed her to her vehicle and proceeded to bang on her driver’s side window while attempting to gain entrance to the vehicle. The subject was processed accordingly. #I-2018-021724 – CSC.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Facilities Management - 10 October 2018 11:09 am

Vehicle #1 was traveling north attempting to make a K turn when it struck a concrete wall. The driver stated he was too close and struck the wall while turning around.  The truck sustained damage to the front passenger side door panel.  There were not injuries reported. #I-2018-021707 – Closed C.

Vehicle #1 was struck by Vehicle #2 which was backing out of a parking spot. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage near the rear passenger side wheel and Vehicle #2 sustained minor damage to the rear bumper. No injuries were reported. #I-2018-021577 – Closed C.


Soliciting - College Center - 09 October 2018 10:40 am

An individual was selling food items on campus stating that she is associated with a charitable organization and the proceeds were to go to that organization. Police advised the subject that soliciting is prohibited on campus and she was escorted off the premises.  #I-2018-021581 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - Lot #4 - 03 October 2018 7:54 pm

The driver of Vehicle #1 stated that when backing up, he struck Vehicle #2 which was parked.  There was minor damage to Vehicle #1 around the right rear quarter panel.  Vehicle #2 sustained moderate damage to the left rear quarter panel area.  The driver of Vehicle #1 refused medical attention on scene. #I-2018-021171 – Closed C.


Harassment - Gateway - 02 October 2018 9:31 am

An individual reported to police that her ex-boyfriend consistently seeks her out through text messages and instant messages on Canvas. He also showed up at her residence unexpectedly. The victim did not wish to make application for a T.R.O nor did she want to file criminal charges. The suspect was advised to cease all contact with the victim. #I-2018-021003 – Closed C.


Motor Vehicle Accident - College Dr. East - 02 October 2018 9:38 am

Vehicle #1 was traveling west in the right lane on College Dr. East towards Mill Road near the exit of Lot #1. Vehicle #2 was exiting Lot #1 near the gate by Mill Road and struck Vehicle #1 on the front passenger side. Vehicle #2 had the stop sign and failed to yield to oncoming traffic before turning onto College Dr. East.  Both vehicles sustained minor damage.  No injuries were reported. #I-2018-021004 – Closed C.


Harassment - Gateway - 02 October 2018 10:57 am

An individual reported to police that a fellow classmate was harassing her, as well as other classmates, by making contact through Canvas asking for answers to homework. When the victims did not cooperate, the subject became verbally aggressive.  The victims felt intimated and uncomfortable in class with the subject as he would sit behind them and stare.  This case is currently being investigated.  #I-2018-021006 – Open.
