New Faculty Programming
To facilitate a smooth transition to MCC, CELT offers new faculty programming. Topics such as getting to know the MCC student population, the syllabus and first day of class, campus resources including disability services, classroom management issues, and grading are addressed in these programs.
Collaborative Mentoring Program
New faculty are invited to participate in a collaborative mentoring program. New faculty are assigned a department and CELT mentor. In addition to one-on-one confidential mentoring sessions, new faculty and mentors participate in CELT Mentoring Circles where small groups of new faculty and mentors engage in meaningful conversations about being an effective faculty member at MCC.
