Alex Delgado
Director
Mr. Delgado earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rowan University and his Master of Arts in Applied Sociology from Montclair State University. Mr. Alex Delgado brings 16 years of experience working with underrepresented students in higher education. He has served in various leadership roles throughout his career that focused on increasing the retention and graduation rates of first-generation, low-income students. As a first-generation college graduate and participant in an opportunity program, he has firsthand experience of the many challenges our students encounter. Presently he serves as a Member at Large for the Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association, a NJ Board Member for the Tri-State Consortium on Opportunity Program and a member of Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity, Inc.

Flora Stowe
Assistant Director
Ms. Stowe earned her first degree in A.S. as a Business Administration major and continued to earn her subsequent degrees as an adult learner. Ms. Stowe earned a B.A. in Social Science, M.A. in Communication and M.S. in Career Development from the College of New Rochelle, NY. She brings years of experience as an Academic Administrator, holding such roles as Director of Career Services at the College of St. Elizabeth, NJ and Assistant Campus Director of the School of New Resources, NY.

Paola Mendez
Student Development Specialist
Ms. Mendez is an EOF Alumnus and first-generation college graduate from the College of New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Economics. As an undergraduate, she served as a Community Advisor for the Office of Residence Life where she provided overarching emotional, social, and academic support to first-year and second-year residents. Also, she was the founder and President of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc., Epsilon Zeta Chapter. As president, she facilitated and coordinated numerous programs and events that included recruitment activities, academic success, mental health, and diversity and inclusion for campus and the local community. Moreover, as an alumnus of INROADS, she is proficient in resume writing, interview coaching, and internship placements. Presently, she serves as an active alumni member at large for her sorority and a member of the INROADS Alumni Association.
Luis Reyes
Senior Administrative Assistant
Mr. Luis Reyes has worked for Middlesex County College for over 17 years. He worked for the Admissions Office for 10 years and a Senior EOF Administrative Assistant for the Educational Opportunity Fund Program since 2007. Mr. Reyes assists students with their application into the EOF program and helps them understand the benefits of the program. He specializes in processing incoming student applications and documentations. He also assists students with filing their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and provides Bilingual (Spanish) assistance.
Tyrene Troupe
EOF Administrative Assistant
EOF Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Tyrene Troupe achieved her Associates degree in Liberal Arts at Middlesex County College in 2018. Mrs. Troupe is at the front desk of the office assisting with program questions, telephone calls and reception services. She helps students with office policies, counseling appointments and maintains communication between students, the counseling faculty and the office. Tyrene is presently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree.
