Students with excess financial funds after their tuition and fees have been paid can use their remaining funds in the Barnes and Noble Bookstore during designated time periods. Students are capped at $1,000 for fall, spring, and summer, provided funds remain, and $500 for the winter semester. Students can purchase their books, supplies, and other items online at: www.middlesexcc.bncollege.com.
Financial Aid funds will be accepted at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore during the following timeframes:
- Apr. 27 to June 11
- June 29 to July 9
- Aug. 10 to Oct. 9
- Oct. 26 to Nov. 13
How to check your available Bookstore credit:
1. From middlesexcc.edu, click the myMCC link in the top blue bar
2. Click Self Service
3. Log in with your Net ID and password
4. Select Student Finance, then My Bookstore Available Funds

Note the following message: This message states that if you have financial aid funding available, after your tuition and fees have been covered by financial aid, you can use up to a maximum of $1,000 to cover the cost of your textbooks, supplies, laptops, and school spirit apparel. This message does not state you have $1,000 to spend. Always ensure you are looking at the correct term.
