**FAFSA for the 2019-2020 Academic year is open from October 1st, 2019**
***Students may submit the FAFSA after the published deadlines but it is not guaranteed that their financial aid will be awarded in time for the tuition payment deadline.***
***Students who submit verification documents by or on the priority deadline will have their financial aid awarded in time for the tuition payment deadline. Documents can be submitted up through the priority deadline and must have a received stamp with the priority deadline.***
***Non-verification student loan requests will take up to 5 business days to process from the time of submission.***
***Verification student loan requests are dependent upon when verification is completed. Once verification is completed, it can take up to 5 business days afterwards for awarding.***
The FAFSA must be RECEIVED by the Federal processor (not postmarked) by the dates below to be considered for the Tuition Aid Grant (TAG), Governor’s Urban Scholarship, NJ STARS and NJ STARS II programs:

***Generally, scholarship awards are posted to the student account by the tuition payment deadline. ***
Students are able to purchase books and supplies during the following dates:
*Maximum Amount that a student can use to purchase books for the Winter session semester is $500.00.
**Maximum Amount that a student can use to purchase books for the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters is $1000.00.
Anyone with excess financial aid funds remaining after tuition and fees are paid can automatically use these funds to purchase books at the college bookstore.
