(HED 150, HED 200, PED 225 and 3 one credit activity classes). The option provides students with a foundation of knowledge for professional undergraduate study. Students will be able to appreciate the scientific principles and theoretical background of physical activities. Students will also develop the leadership responsibilities necessary in a teaching learning environment. In addition, students will understand the importance of health maintenance activities on both physiological and psychological well being.
