Dual Degree Program

*Price effective Fall 2019

The High School Scholars program enables high school students to earn MCC credits during their regular school day by enrolling in courses that have been aligned with MCC courses and paying a reduced course tuition of $125*.  Districts that align courses specific to the Liberal Arts General degree program help make it possible for students to work toward the completion of an Associate’s Degree.  Students can take 45 relevant credits as dual enrollment, as well as satisfy a 15 credit residency requirement (online or on-campus courses at $125*/course) and potentially earn an Associate’s Degree from MCC at the time of high school graduation, or after attending 1-2 semesters.  All courses taken as high school students, whether dual enrollment, online, or on-campus, cost $125*/course, making the dual degree program an economical choice for all students.  See the tuition cost table on our main page to calculate cost savings!  Don’t pay 4-year university tuition for core requirements.  Take them at MCC while still in high school, complete our Associate’s Degree, and transfer to any public 4-year school within the state of NJ with junior status.

Note:  Once a student graduates high school and matriculates as a MCC freshman, s/he will be charged full tuition and fees for all courses.
