Trustee Board Reorganizes

At the Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees on November 13, new officers were elected and committee assignments were altered.

Roll call votes resulted in the election of a new vice chairman and treasurer. Committee appointments by the Board chairman were changed to allow for more and different participation.

Prior to the meeting, Gary Taffet, an insurance broker and consultant, was appointed to the Board by the County, and the chair of the Human Resources Committee was replaced. All committees retain the same chairs for the 2018 fiscal year.

Representatives to the County Board of School Estimate were also changed for 2018. They are Mark Finkelstein and Dorothy K. Power; alternates are Eileen Palumbo and Yasmin Hernandez-Manno.
