NJCU Security Studies Program Offered at MCC

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Security Studies offered by New Jersey City University can be completed on the Middlesex County College campus. The program is aimed at Middlesex graduates who want to continue their education and receive a bachelor’s degree, but would like to take those classes on the Middlesex campus.

“This is a convenient way for criminal justice students to take classes close to home,” said Marilyn Laskowski-Sachnoff, dean of Business, Computer Science and Engineering Technologies. “We hope to expand this program with other majors and other colleges in the future.

Summer classes include: Introduction to Security, and Careers in Professional Security Studies. Fall offerings are: Computer Security II, Current Security Problems, Introduction to Security, Security Organization and Administration, and Introduction to Intelligence.
