College Student Recognition Award

Logan Germano ’16, a current student at Rutgers University, received the College Student Recognition Award presented by the New Jersey Council for the Social Studies. Mr. Germano was recognized for his scholarship in Christobal Espinoza-Wulach’s History of the 20th Century course and also for his efforts in creating the Humanities Honor Society at MCC.

“Logan has continued to work with Professor Espinoza researching primary historical sources to prepare an article for publication, is now continuing his education at Rutgers University, and he has expressed an interest in pursuing a graduate degree in history,” said Arlene Gardner, executive director of the New Jersey Center for Civic Education at Rutgers University and a longtime member of the Council for Social Studies.
