New Program Trains Workers in Green Jobs

A new program run by the College’s Institute for Management and Technical Development, which handles customized training for business, trained workers in “Electronics for Green Jobs.”

Students learned about solar panels, repairing recycling devices, geothermal and wind-based electrical systems and much more. Eight people were graduated in July; most are in the process of being hired. Fourteen more are now in the program and the next class begins November 9.
