HISPANIC HERITAGE: Juntos Together Documentary Premiere at the New Brunswick State Theater covering local response to disaster in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria last year.

Juntos Together (JT), a consortium of individuals, grassroots and community-based agencies in Greater New Brunswick, New Jersey, will be premiering a documentary of its first Puerto Rico Rebuilding Project, which took place in April 2018. The Premiere will be held at the renowned State Theatre New Jersey, 15 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick, on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 pm.

The graphic logo currently being used for the Juntos Together t-shirts and worn by first responders during their first rebuilding trip to PR was created and donated by 2018 MCC graduate Jamaila Hernandez, now attending Kean University. Three other logos were selected and donated to Juntos Together by MCC students to support this important initiative. The MCC Visual, Performing and Media Arts Department, Professor Francine Krimsky in particular, was instrumental in getting the students inspired and involved.

Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite - Register Now

Registered MCC students interested in receiving a FREE ticket to attend this documentary are encouraged to contact or the New Brunswick Center at 732 745-8866 to request a ticket. Full name, student ID and cell number are required. Tickets are limited.
