MCC is pleased to announce that after a national search, the College has appointed Jeff Herron as the Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Compliance. Jeff Herron

Jeff brings a wealth of experience in assessment, compliance, contract administration, policy development, and program management to this position. He served as the Acting Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at MCC since July of 2018, and previously as Dean of the Division of Professional Studies. Jeff serves as the College’s Accreditation Liaison Officer for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and just completed a three-year term on the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Paralegals Approval Commission. He co-chaired, along with Professor Barry Glazer, the Steering Committee that developed the College’s 2016 Periodic Review Report submission to Middle States. His background in Paralegal Education includes service as a Program Director at MCC and at Rowan College at Burlington County and as a member of the adjunct faculty at MCC and two other community colleges in New Jersey. In addition, Jeff has served as the College’s Title IX Coordinator and played a lead role in drafting the College’s Title IX policy.

As Jeff assumes his new role, Linda Scherr has been appointed as Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs. Marla Brinson continues to serve as Acting Executive Dean for Student and Enrollment Services.

Please join us in congratulating Jeff on his appointment and in thanking Marla and Linda for their leadership during this period of transition.
